The Myrtle Beach Pelicans (Advanced Class A affiliate of the Atlanta Braves) are the most fun, affordable family-oriented event on the Grand Strand. The Pelicans play at Coastal Federal Field, a 4,300 seat state-of-the-art facility located on 21st Avenue North across from Broadway at the Beach (right in the heart of Myrtle Beach). Players like Jason Marquis, Marcus Giles and Rafael Furcal have all gone on to the Big Leagues through Myrtle Beach, so come out and see the future of the Atlanta Braves!

BROOKGREEN GARDENS

One of the Southeast's greatest natural attractions, Brookgreen Gardens is a National Historic Landmark with the most significant collection of figurative sculpture in an outdoor setting by American artists in the world and has the only zoo accredited by the Association of Zoos and Aquariums on the coast of the Carolinas. A must see on your Grand Strand visit.

MURRELLS INLET MARSHWALK

Come visit the Murrells Inlet Marshwalk, where fun and food abound for the entire family! The Marshwalk consists of 7 restaurants located on the beautiful Inlet waterfront. Stroll along the boardwalk while sampling a variety of food and drinks, everything from seafood and burgers to sushi and steaks. HUNTINGTON BEACH STATE PARK

Located across from Brookgreen Gardens, Huntington Beach is a great place to take the family for an afternoon of fun and sun. Visit Atalaya, a beachfront castle and one of the most unique structures in South Carolina. There's plenty of beach to stretch out on, as well as covered picnic pavilions, bike paths, and a campground. You won't regret spending the day here!
